Golf at TPC Colorado
TPC Colorado’s 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Arthur Schaupeter, is scheduled to debut in the Spring of 2018. TPC Colorado is the only TPC-sanctioned course in the state of Colorado.
Schaupeter's design philosophy for the golf course focuses on creating maximum fun and maximum interest for all golfers, fully engaging them emotionally in their golf round. Big, broad golf holes built into natural terrain will provide a multitude of strategic playing options and different lines of play for all golfers to discover and consider.
Tournament golfers will be further challenged by the subtleties of each hole, like the fairway and green contours, learning over time where the best positions for their shots are on each hole. Recreational golfers will appreciate the room that they are given to knock their ball around and still keep it in play as they enjoy the day with friends and family. This combination of highly strategic and completely playable golf holes will create a thoroughly enjoyable golfing experience for all. TPC Colorado will be notable for this enjoyable and thrilling golfing experience as well as the spectacular setting along Northern Colorado’s Front Range.
Schaupeter’s solo projects include the following highly rated courses: Highland Meadows Golf Course (Golf Digest #5 Best New Affordable Courses in 2005), The Republic Golf Club (#1 Public Golf Course in San Antonio by the San Antonio News Express in 2006, 2007 and 2009) and The Club at Old Hawthorne (home course for the University of Missouri golf teams and the Missouri Pro-Am Championship).

TPC Colorado Clubhouse will serve as the centerpiece to the community with relaxed and eclectic modern Western Mountain Lodge style and an emphasis on leisure and the outdoors. Natural materials, stepped terraces, expansive windows and covered porches will be incorporated into the overall design, connecting the clubhouse and leisure amenities with the exceptional surrounding landscape and views.
Providing something for everyone, other leisure amenities will include: the community club with resort-style pool complex, wellness center, kids’ club and stone oven pizzas at the café. Situated on McNeil Reservoir will be the beach club with a sand beach, paddleboards and kayaks, and the arts and crafts studio where residents and guests of all ages will learn new pursuits like painting, fly tying, quilting, jewelry making and more. The golf turnhouse and its casual grill, enjoyed by residents as well as golfers, will be reminiscent of a boathouse with a relaxing screened porch from which to watch herons peacefully gliding across Lonetree Reservoir.
These exciting features are being designed by Z Design Group, an award-winning design firm specializing in golf club, hospitality, resort, leisure, and recreation design since 1978.
