Heron Lakes at TPC Colorado and local Northern Colorado Builder, Landmark Homes, were chosen for Rock the Block Season 4, premiering on HGTV and DiscoveryPlus.
WHAT IS ROCK THE BLOCK?
Top HGTV designers have just weeks and a limited budget to design and finish four blank-slate homes on the same block with their signature styles. The designers who net the highest appraisal get bragging rights and a street named in their honor. This show has been airing since 2019 and has three seasons under its belt. Past winners of the show include Jasmine Roth from Help! I Wrecked My House, Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt from 100 Day Dream Home and Egypt and Mike Sherrod from Married to Real Estate!
ROCK THE BLOCK S4 LOCATION
Rock the Block Season 4 was filmed in The Rookery segment of the Heron Lakes Community. Heron Lakes is a Master-Planned Residential Golf Lifestyle Community, developed by Hillside Commercial Group. The community is located central to the Tournament Players Club of Colorado (TPC Colorado) and sits Front Row of the Front Range in Berthoud, Colorado. In total the development covers over 850 acres and offers plenty of natural outdoor recreation opportunities between three reservoirs, over 8 miles of trails, 4.5 miles of shoreline, 130+ acres of permanent open space and more.

Local homebuilder, Landmark Homes, has been chosen as this season's Rock the Block builder! Our development team has worked closely with Landmark over the years in various projects and we couldn't be more excited to see their amazing company showcased through this lens. As a longstanding preferred builder in the Heron Lakes community, we know the designers will be in awe of these four homes! We cannot wait to see what these talented HGTV designers create for each space of these luxury homes!

How do you find Ty on set? You follow the giggles! This guy truly can do it all and keep a smile on everyone's face around him. Which in times came useful in a competition like Rock the Block! These competitors are going head to head in a quick timeframe, working long hours and working well past dark to make design magic happen. Ty's career in home renovation began in 2000 as a carpenter on the reality show, Trading Spaces which led to his famed host role on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition which aired from 2004-2012. In addition to Rock the Block, Ty hosts HGTV's Battle on the Beach, Ty Breaker, and Home Town Kickstart among others!

Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin
While Jonathan Knight might be an original New Kids on the Block band member, home renovation is not something he is new to! Jon (as we call him on "The Block" 
) was exposed to home renovation at a very young age with his grandfather and uncle both involved in the industry. He began flipping homes himself in the Boston area in the early 90s and his journey has only taken off from there. While Jon might seem impressive with his big name status, Kristina Crestin is equally as extraordinary operating a full-scale, all women design business where her team specializes in Farmhouses. The two met long ago while Kristina was a design assistant for an architectural firm and Jon was a client. Some things just click and that was the case for #TeamFarmhouseFixer!

Brian and Sarah Baeumler
After taking on the renovation of the Caerula Mar Club on the South Andros Island of the Bahamas, The Block is just another day on the job for powerhouse couple Bryan and Sarah Baeumler! These two are well known in the world of HGTV across Canada and the U.S., with Bryan previously being involved with shows, House of Bryan, Bryan Inc., Disaster DIY and Leave it to Bryan. As a master contractor and home renovation expert paired with Sarah's creative design expertise, these two are going to be fierce competitors this season! Fun fact about #TeamRenovationIsland is that in Canada, the show is named Island of Bryan!

Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle
Small town southern-gentlemen, Michel Smith Boyd, proves that luxury design does not need to cost a fortune. When you're competing on a limited budget like competitors on Rock the Block, knowing how to work the numbers and still deliver will play in favor for #TeamLuxeForLess. Michel's glamorous counter-part is courier designer, DIY enthusiast and Project Runway Season 6 winner, Anthony Elle. Outside of being co-hosts on Luxe For Less, Michel operates his design firm SMITHBOYD INTERIORS and Anthony designs custom couture gowns under his Anthony Elle label.

Page Turner and Mitch Glew
When it comes to a competition like Rock the Block, you need to have GRIT and that is something that #TeamFixMyFlip is not lacking! Page Turner is a real estate broker who started her career with a vision of homeownership obtainable for anyone. Like everything she touches, she turned this business into a mass success. This led to her lending her expertise to homeowners in over their heads, and over budget, on their home flips. To the rescue comes Page and the second-part of this fierce duo, Mitch Glew. Mitch is a master contractor who owns and operates Glew Build. He is the man behind bringing creative visions to life, quickly and efficiently!
